Get to Know the Callahan Neighborhood in Orlando
Callahan is a mainly residential, historic Black community known for the 1920s Bob Carr Theater, hosting eclectic concerts, Broadway productions, and dance shows. The large Orlando Tennis Center has floodlit clay and hard tennis courts, while the Callahan Neighborhood Center offers a playground and family events. Chain coffee shops, BBQ and chicken joints, and independent grocery stores also dot the area.
